Welcome to
Veloventoux Cycling Holidays - Quality Cycling Holidays in South East France.
We have now relocated to the beautiful village of Faucon, just 20 minutes ride time from the foot of Mont Ventoux and in a great location for the 100's of kilometres of quiet roads right on our doorstep.
The emphasis at Veloventoux is on
flexibility and it is totally up to you how
hard you want to push yourself, whether you want to amble through
Provence from café to café or try to beat the hour
pedalling up Mont Ventoux.
For wine lovers we are located in the centre of the Cotes
du Rhone vineyards close to famous villages like Gigondas and Chateauneauf du
Pape.
Our 2008 Programme will include Le Tour de France, Paris-Nice and The Dauphiné Libéré.
The cyclosportive season kicks off in April with the Cezanne St Victoire then La Coironese and The Routes des Helviens in The Ardeche.
We now have 3
cyclosportives which ascend Mont Ventoux. Starting on 18th May there is La Vauclusienne. Then the big one, La Ventoux Beaumes de Venise on 7th June and finally Les Routes du Ventoux on 7th September.
In July we are running a trip to La Marmotte at Alpe d'Huez which is arguably the most famous and the hardest of the Alpine cyclosportives.
Check out the cyclosportives page for more info.
We also organise bespoke tours from The Ventoux to Alpe d'Huez and also to other mythical Alpine cols such as The Galibier and the Col d'Izoard and of course we always get to see Le Tour.
This year we have been covered by even more lo-cost flights. Ryanair now fly from Glasgow to Marseille, Flybe fly from Southampton to Avignon and Easyjet from Liverpool to Marseilles. Jet2 are flying from Leeds Bradford to Avignon between May and October. Click here for more details
Bike Hire
We now have a fleet of quality roadbikes for hire supplied by Terry Dolan. These are available for a small supplement. Click here for more info.
