Our Story

It all began in October 2002 with a cycling holiday in Provence.

Staying in the beautiful village of Mollans-sur-Ouvèze, Craig went and rode Mont Ventoux. Sitting on the hotel terrace afterwards, Craig and Vicky found themselves wondering what it would be like to swap everyday life for a new adventure in the heart of Provence.

That evening, VeloVentoux was born.

Back home, a simple website was created, adverts were placed in cycling magazines and, before long, the van was packed and the move to France became a reality.

More than two decades later, we’re still here—still family-run, still passionate about cycling, and still sharing the roads that inspired us all those years ago.

Over the years we’ve welcomed thousands of cyclists from around the world, guided countless ascents of Mont Ventoux, explored hundreds of kilometres of quiet Provençal roads and helped riders complete everything from their first mountain climb to some of Europe’s toughest cycling challenges.

What hasn’t changed is our philosophy. We believe the best cycling holidays combine great riding, local knowledge, relaxed hospitality and the freedom to discover the real Provence.
