Accommodation and food

I really can't recommend Véloventoux highly enough. They are about 15km from the foot of Ventoux, so a great warm up, plus there are lots of other good routes from there round the mountain or along the Gorge de la Nesque etc. There are lots of places to eat around, I mean, it is France. But Vaison la Romaine is my favourite place to eat of an evening, and a stunning village to walk round.

Introduction

We are located in the village of Puymeras on the edge of the beautiful Baronnies Regional Park and  just half an hour ride away from the foot of Mont Ventoux.

Puymeras has great aminities including the best bar in the area, which serves great food. During the summer months the bar has live music from local legends. A pizza van also parks outside the bar twice a week on Saturday and Wednesday. We have a fantastic restaurant, The Girocedre which has top class food in a beautiful outdoor setting. You will find a boulangerie and a small general store, in just a 2 minute walk.

We’re also just 10 minutes away from the large tourist town of Vaison la Romaine which has restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
